Dr. Babar is a pioneer
in the field of Plastic surgery and has played a distinctive
role in the development fo this specialty in Pakistan. He has
over 33 years of experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic
surgery, more then any other surgeon in Pakistan. He is founding
and life member of several professional societies and has established
the first teaching department of plastic surgery in Punjab at
King Edward Medical College / Mayo hospital. He has trained
12 plastic surgeons who are serving in various hospitals in
Pakistan and abroad.
Hobbies and Interests
- Dr. Babar is
married to Dr. Mumtaz Jabeen Babar, who has an active practice of
Physical Medicine & Rehebiliation and is former consultant at
Sheikh Zayad Postgraduate Medical Institute and Childern's
hospital. The Babars have two sons and two
daughters.
Hobbies include: Travel, Golf and
